Central Line Placement (MAC)

Multi-lumen access catheter (MAC) placement is similar to that of a triple-lumen central venous catheter (CVC). The primary difference is the loading of the dilator onto the MAC line. Use the dilator twice to expand the subcutaneous tract before advancing the MAC line over the dilator.
