Management Key Points

1. Standard management includes avoiding triggering agents, administering dantrolene (2.5 mg/kg), and flushing the anesthesia machine.
2. Maintain high fresh gas flow (> 3 L/min) to prevent re-gassing of anesthetic vapors to levels above 5 ppm.
3. The charcoal filter discs are designed to be installed in a specific orientation; follow the arrows on the filters to ensure they are aligned with the direction of fresh gas flow.
