MAC choice options:
- propofol infusion
- propofol and dexmedetomidine (loading 0.5 mcg/kg over 10 minutes, maintenance 0.2-0.7 mcg/kg/hr)
- propofol and remifentanil (0.02 mcg/kg/min)
- propofol (10 mg PRN) and fentanyl (25 mcg PRN)
- midazolam (usually 2 mg) and fentanyl (25 mcg PRN)
Notes
Avoid the C-arm. Watch lines. PIV on left (access by surgery on right). Pulse ox on right hand.
