EGD (esophagogastroduodenoscopy)

- Airway
- MAC (+/- HFNC). Or GA with Oral ETT (esp if n/v)
- Induction
- Lidocaine/Propofol. Midazolam/fentanyl may be used if needed, but propofol-only anesthesia is often cleaner with faster wakeup.

- MAC Propofol PRN, Propofol gtt.
- Emergence
- Awake
- Antibiotics
- None
- Position
- Supine/Sloppy Left lateral decubitus for GI people

Consider RSI GA with ETT if nausea/vomiting risk, gastroparesis, bleeding, or if GI finds significant secretions/food bolus upon entry into stomach
