Target

Femoral crease, locating common femoral artery. Femoral nerve is lateral to artery (NAVEL to the Navel). Sharpen the nerve into a triangle. Inject below nerve at 7 o’clock and dissect above at 11 o’clock. However, also lay eyes on the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve.

Tricks

Identify femoral artery. Travel distal and identify where the deep femoral artery splits. Nerve splits there too, so go proximal.
