EVAR (Endovascular Aneurysm Repair)

- PIV x2 large. Arterial line (probably pre-induction) (probably right sided). Central line (probably triple lumen for pressors)
- Airway
- Oral ETT.
- Induction
- Standard (lidocaine/fentanyl/propofol)
- Maintenance
- GA with ETT. TIVA (if neuromonitoring) (propofol/remifentanil). Sometimes, they do not monitor motors, so can use paralytic
- Emergence
- Awake. ICU
- Antibiotics

Notes
Pressors in line. Blood in room (6-8R, 6-8F) Heparin on surgeon request, ACT
every 30 min, protamine at the end
Tight BP control. do not rupture the aneurysm. Ask surgeon for SBP/MAP goals
